REFUND & CANCELLATION POLICY

plain english, no fine print games

Effective 20 August 2026

SUMMARY

The detail is below. If your situation is not covered, email henry@henryfinn.com and it will be dealt with fairly.

1. MEMBERSHIPS & SUBSCRIPTIONS

Canceling

You can cancel a membership at any time, for any reason, with no cancellation fee. Cancel from your account page, or email henry@henryfinn.com from the address on the account and it will be canceled for you within 1 business day.

Canceling stops all future charges. Your access continues until the end of the billing period you have already paid for, then lapses. You are not locked into a minimum term unless a specific tier stated one before you signed up.

Refunds on memberships

Price changes and notice

Membership prices will not increase for an existing member without at least 30 days' notice by email. If you do not want the new price, cancel before it takes effect and you will never be charged it.

2. DIGITAL GOODS & CONTENT

Digital items are delivered instantly and cannot be returned in any meaningful sense, so as a general rule sales are final once the item has been delivered and accessed. That said, a refund will be given within 14 days of purchase in any of these cases:

Refunds are not given simply because you changed your mind after reading, viewing, or downloading the item, or because you already own it elsewhere.

If a digital item was bundled with a service engagement, the refund terms of the engagement apply to the bundle.

3. ADVISORY & CONSULTING

Consulting is governed first by the signed proposal or statement of work for that engagement. Where the proposal is silent, the following applies.

Canceling before work starts

Canceling an engagement in progress

Either side can end an engagement with 14 days' written notice. On termination you are billed only for work actually performed up to the end of the notice period, and any prepaid amount beyond that is refunded within 10 business days. Deposits are credited against work performed, not forfeited, except where the proposal expressly says a deposit is non-refundable and you agreed to that in writing.

Rescheduling

Sessions can be moved once at no charge with at least 48 hours' notice. Beyond that, a reschedule is treated as a cancellation under the terms above.

If I cancel

If an engagement is canceled or cannot be delivered from this side for any reason, you receive a full refund of everything paid and not yet earned, with no deductions.

4. HOW TO REQUEST A REFUND

Email henry@henryfinn.com with:

  1. The email address used at purchase.
  2. The date and amount of the charge, and the last four digits of the card.
  3. What you bought.
  4. Briefly, what went wrong.

You will get a decision within 3 business days. If it is approved, the refund is issued to the original payment method within 5-10 business days; how quickly it then appears is up to your bank or card issuer. Refunds are made in USD, the currency of the original charge. Where a refund is declined, you will be told the specific reason in writing.

There is no restocking fee, no processing fee, and no deduction from an approved refund.

5. RETURNS AND SHIPPING

Everything sold here is delivered electronically. Nothing is shipped, so there is no return address, no return shipping cost, and no in-person returns.

6. CHARGEBACKS

Please email before opening a dispute with your bank. Almost every problem is solved faster directly, and a bank dispute can take your issuer up to 90 days to resolve. Charges appear on your statement as HENRY FINN. If you do not recognize a charge, get in touch and it will be traced for you the same day where possible.

7. YOUR STATUTORY RIGHTS

Nothing in this policy limits any right you have under applicable consumer protection law, including California law and, where it applies to you, the statutory right of withdrawal available to consumers in the United Kingdom and the European Union. Where a mandatory legal right gives you more than this policy does, the law wins.

8. CHANGES

This policy can be updated. The version in force at the time of your purchase is the one that applies to that purchase, and changes are never applied retroactively. The effective date is shown at the top of this page.
